Assist management with the training of associates and provide input about associate performance for hourly Office associates as well as direct execution of Office associate such as general office and cash office procedures. Some essential duties include reviewing Selling Price and Unit Adjustments, unit integrity, invoice accuracy, shipment logs, invoice register reports, reconciling daily cash and printing reports as directed.
o Ensures customer care and selling are #1 Maintains a clean and organized work area with file cabinets set up in accordance with corporate guidelines
o Demonstrates a high level of confidentiality when handling register errors and violations
o Follows corporate guidelines relating to Merchandise Claims & Control (MC&C), known-loss merchandise, and open/empty packages
o Uses the 4-Step process to train associates: Tell, Show, Watch, and Support and stays informed on up-to-date information and procedures
o Assists in all office functions including general office and cash office procedures
o Assists in training of all cash office associates
o Reconciles daily cash, print required reports and distribute to appropriate associates
o Researches open invoice reports from Operations Workbench
o Prints consolidated invoice reports daily and verifies that open invoices are closed within 24 hours, prints and verifies End of Daily Shipment log report with packing slips
o Verifies entries on the invoice register report for accuracy and follow-up on any found discrepancies
o Keeps accurate records of all Selling Price Adjustment (SPA) and Unit Adjustment (UA) forms. Forms must be tracked and keyed on a regular basis to preserve unit integrity
o Verifies McClain invoices for accuracy. Researches units, costs and selling values and makes adjustments when discrepancies are present
o Manages the accounting of store use merchandise. Handles store use merchandise daily to ensure unit integrity and reduce shrink opportunities
o Communicates register errors to and works closely with Asset Protection Coach to reconcile errors
o Performs supervisory responsibilities, including, but not limited to: making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting, and terminating; conducting performance appraisals; and coaching and developing associates
o Performs other duties as assigned
o Excellent reading, writing, verbal, and arithmetic skills
o Ability to lift and move merchandise, typically a minimum of 20lbs, but could be as much as 100 lbs.
o Repetitive bending, lifting, stretching and reaching
o Ability to be cross-trained
o Ability to stand for long periods, typically 4 to 5 hours at a time
o Ability to make decisions in stressful situations
o Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
o Must be 18 years of age or olderEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
