This position is responsible for supervising several employees and must demonstrate the ability to plan and organize responsibilities effectively.
Knowledge of safe and efficient operations of public transportation will be beneficial in the placement of this position.
Strong leadership qualities together with strong problem solving and critical thinking are essential to this position.
Manage and improve operational practices.
Coordinate and oversee the daily operations.
Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse population.
Working effectively in an environment that has several priorities and to be able to exercise good judgement as situations arise is required.
Must be able to adjust schedule according to needs.
Flexibility is extremely important.
Five (5) years supervisory experience required.
Previous experience in operations or in other related fields helpful.
Commercial Driver's License Class B with airbrakes and passenger endorsement preferred or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment with training provided.
Selected candidate must pass required background checks and drug/alcohol testing.
