BAYADA Hospice is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse/ RN to fill the position ofNurse, Manager in our Hospice office located in Rutland, Vermont which services patients in Rutland, Addison and Windsor counties. As a RN, Nurse, Manager you will lead the field staff on client service, clinical excellence, and adherence to policies and procedures. Nurse Managers are also accountable for internal case management, field staff evaluation and development.
Directing and coordinating the care provided by a multi-disciplinary team of hospice professionals.
Processing incoming referrals.
Management and mentoring of field nurses and aides.
Orientation of field staff.
Documentation review.
Monitoring quality assurance.
Managing staff productivity, and overall case management.
Visiting clients as necessary.
Providing on call triage (/rotating responsibility/).
Managing workflow in Homecare Homebase software.
A current Vermont RN license, or willingness to obtain one.
3 years of nursing experience.
2 years of recent hospice experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of hospice regulations.
Prior experience supervising clinical staff.
Strong management and leadership background.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexible, and an all hands on deck attitude
Ability to provide occasional coverage for field visits
