Duties include:
Diagnose system problems by completing steps required during inspection, including checking gas flow, thermostats, heat flow, and insulation etc.
Fix problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairs
Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely
Foster good customer relations by explaining to customers what service work was performed
Complete appropriate daily paper work for each service call.
Maintain daily and yearly inventory
Ensure that service truck is in good working order and reliable
Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity.
Requirements: Dual Product experience required
Knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and some air conditioning is helpful
Ability to work well with others; good organization and communication skills; attention to detail and strong customer service skills are required
Decision making skills are required
Previous heating technician experience preferred
Safe work habits necessary
May be required to work flexible work hours
CDL-B/Crane Truck experience preferred
